Football Wordle is a football guessing game in the classic Wordle format. The board shows how many letters are in the mystery footballer's surname, and you have six tries to spell it. After each guess, tiles turn green for a correct letter in the right spot and yellow for a correct letter in the wrong spot, so every row narrows the answer.

How Football Wordle works
Type a footballer surname with the same number of letters as the answer and press enter. Green tiles mark letters in the right position, yellow tiles mark letters that are in the name but elsewhere, and grey letters are not in the surname at all.
Unlimited and challenge modes
Unlimited mode serves a fresh random surname whenever you want and lets you pick the letter count. The timed Challenge chains 5, 6, 7 and 8-letter surnames with 90 seconds each and ranks your run on the leaderboard.
Tips to solve faster
Open with a surname that uses common letters to expose greens and yellows fast, then build candidate names that fit the revealed pattern. The fewer guesses you use, the higher you place on the leaderboard.
