How to play
Missing 11 (also called Missing Lineup) challenges your memory of famous starting XIs. You pick a classic match, choose one of the two teams, and then name the eleven players who started that game. The pitch shows each position, and you fill in the names you remember before your guesses run out.

Each fixture stores both teams' real starting elevens. You type a surname and, if it started for the selected side, that player locks into their position on the pitch. Close spellings are accepted. You can use a limited number of hints that reveal letters of a hidden surname when you are stuck, or reveal the full lineup to end the round.
Choose a famous match from the list of historic fixtures. Pick which team's starting XI you want to complete (home or away). Type the surnames of players you remember starting that match; correct names appear in their positions. Use a hint to reveal a letter of a hidden surname if you get stuck. Complete all eleven, or reveal the answer to see the full lineup.
Start with the players you are certain of — the goalkeeper and the biggest stars — to anchor the formation. Use the formation and positions on the pitch as memory cues for who filled each role. Think about the era: squads and regular starters change season to season, so date the fixture in your mind. Spend hints on the position you genuinely cannot recall rather than an easy one.
