How to play
The Top Scorers Quiz tests how well you know the leading goalscorers of Europe's big leagues. You pick a league — Premier League, La Liga, Serie A or Ligue 1 — and answer a run of multiple-choice questions, choosing the right player from the options shown. Your score builds across the round, and each league is its own separate challenge to master.

Every question is multiple choice: a scoring question is posed and you tap the correct player from the options. There is no typing, so it rewards recognition and recall rather than spelling. You work through the round building your score, and you can switch leagues at any time to test yourself on a different competition's goal machines.
Choose the league you know best to start — Premier League, La Liga, Serie A or Ligue 1. Read each question carefully, noting whether it asks about an all-time or a single-season scorer. Weigh the options and pick the player you are most confident in. Build your score across the round, keeping your streak going. Switch to another league and repeat to test yourself across all four competitions.
Anchor each league with its record holder — Alan Shearer leads the Premier League on 260 goals — and reason outward from there. Separate all-time from single-season questions: a modern name like Erling Haaland dominates recent campaigns without topping the historic lists. Eliminate the obviously wrong options first; multiple choice often comes down to two plausible names. Recent Golden Boot winners are worth memorising, since current top scorers appear often across the leagues. If you are unsure, favour the prolific long-career striker over the one-good-season forward for all-time questions.
You can play the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1. Each league is a separate quiz, so you can focus on the competition you know best or work through all four.
It is multiple choice. Each question shows several player options and you tap the correct one, so it rewards recognising the right goalscorer rather than spelling names.
Questions can cover both, which is why it helps to read each one carefully. Some ask about a league's all-time leading scorers, others about who topped the charts in a particular season.
Yes. You can move between the Premier League, La Liga, Serie A and Ligue 1 quizzes whenever you like to test yourself on a different set of top scorers.
